New listing AREIT declines peso at P48.84:$1

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index soared 192.76 points to end at 6,097.76 but newly-listed AREIT Inc declined on Thursday.
AREIT Inc., the third new listing this year, closed P2.10 lower to P24.90.
But the peso remained strong as it finished at P48.84 against the US dollar from P48.94 on Wednesday. Volume at the Bankers Association of the Philippines foreign exchange portal reached $632.1 million from $795.92 million.
In the broader PSE market, there were 110 gainers, 73 losers and 57 unchanged.
Volume reached 1.35 billion shares worth P17.15 billion.
Other most active shares aside from AREIT Inc were SM Investment Corp. up P27 to P897; Ayala Land, up 40 centavos to P33.20 and BDO, up P2 to P92. DMS
