Peso, at P51.75:$1, remains at 11-year low

The peso remained in 11-year lows as it finished barely higher on Thursday from the previous day's level.
The Philippine currency ended at P51.75 against the US dollar from P51.77. Volume at the Philippine Dealing System reached $650 million from $773 million in the previous day.
Stocks finished lower as the Philippine Stock Exchange index closed 35.43 points lower to 8,267.92.
In the broader market, there were 102 decliners, 77 gainers and 58 shares unchanged.
Volume reached 992.58 million shares worth P4.71 billion.
Most actively traded shares were led by Ayala Land, down 1.15 percent to P42.80; BDO Unibank, up 0.75 percent to P135 and Bloomberry Resorts, down 4.17 percent to P9.38. DMS
