Peso, stocks end lower

The peso closed at P52.96 against the US dollar, shedding off 39 centavos from Thursday's close.
Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines went down to $897.5 million from $1.353 billion on the previous day.
The Philippine Stock Exchange ( PSE) index lost 66.89 points to end at 6,968.62 points. In the broader market, there were 105 gainers, 84 decliners and 53 shares unchanged.
Volume at the PSE reached 1.17 million shares worth P5.96 billion from Thursday's 1.56 million shares valued at P8.4 billion.
Most traded shares were led by ISM Communications, up 7.94 percent to P6.80; ICTSI, up 0.11 percent to P92.15, Globe Telecom, down 5.2 percent to P1728; Now Corp., up 24.49 percent to P3.05 and Chelsea Logistics, up 0.78 percent to P7.80. DMS
