Philippine stocks index sets all-time record for third straight session

The Philippine Stock Index closed at a new mark for the third straight session as it gained 113.29 points to end at 8,294.14 on Monday.
Two hours before the trading closed, the index breached 8,200 points for the first time.
Volume reached 1.3 billion shares valued at P8.109 billion.
The biggest gainer among the PSE sub-indices was holding firms which went up 2.29 percent to 8,234.38 points.
Most active shares were led by SM Investments Corp., up 4.01 percent to P868.50, Ayala Corp., up 4.68 percent to P972 and Ayala Land up 2,28 percent to P46. DMS
