PLDT share prices up, Globe down after Duterte outburst

Share prices of PLDT gained Tuesday while Globe slumped a day after President Rodrigo Duterte warned them to improve service by December or face drastic government action.
PLDT rose P7 to P1,327 while Globe declined by P10 to P2,000. Share prices of DITO CME Holdings, which secured a license to be the country's third telco player, went up by nine centavos to P2.75.
The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index gained 66.17 points to 5,927.11. In the broader market,there were 97 gainers, 97 losers and 45 unchanged.
Volume reached 1.95 billion shares worth P4.3 billion from Monday's 3.1 billion valued at P3.94 billion.
Most active shares were led by SM Investment Corp., up P16 to P900; BDO, down P1.05 to P88.95 and Ayala Land, up 20 centavos to P32.10. DMS
