PSA revises 1st quarter GDP lower to -0.7%

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) on Wednesday revised first quarter gross domestic product (GDP) lower to -0.7 percent from -0.2 percent.

Growth rates of net primary income from the rest of the world and gross national income were revised lower from -4.4 percent to -5.9 percent and from -0.6 percent to -1.2 percent, respectively, the PSA said.

The second quarter growth figures will be announced on Thursday. DMS
