PSE Index end week slightly higher

The main Philippine share index ended the week slightly higher on Friday.
The peso settled at P50.765 against the US dollar from P50.80 on Thursday. Volume at the foreign exchange portal at the Bankers Association of the Philippines ( BAP) reached $899.2 million from $1.022 billion.
The Philippine Stock Exchange ( PSE) index closed at 7,801.72 points, up 10.81 points. But in the broader market, there were 85 losers, 81 gainers and 59 shares unchanged.
Volume reached 468.02 million valued at P5.71 billion from Thursday's 514.8 million worth P6.5 billion.
Most active shares were led by BPI, down 95 centavos to P89; SM Prime, up 80 centavos to P40.80; Universal Robina Corp., down P4.20 to P136 and Ayala Corp., down P2 to P828. DMS
