PSE index ends above 6,000 points for 2nd day

The Philippine Stock Exchange ( PSE) index continued surging past the 6,000-point mark on Wednesday.
The PSE index finished at 6,245.65, up 2220.48. In the broader market, there were 143 gainers, 59 losers and 44 unchanged.
Volume reached 1.3 billion shares worth P8.25 billion from Tuesday's 1 billion shares valued at P7.29 billion.
Most active shares were led by GT Capital, up P14 to P385; Ayala Land, up P2.70 to P36 and SM Investment Corp., down P1.00 to P945. DMS
