PSE index ends flat, peso at P49.55:$1

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index closed flat, gaining 8.58 points to end at 6,372.66 on Friday.
But in the broader market, there are 103 losers, 92 gainers and 45 unchanged.
Volume reached 2.66 billion shares worth P7.39 billion from Thursday's 761 million shares valued at P7.35 billion.
Most active shares were led by SM Investment Corp., unchanged at P950; BDO, down 55 centavos to P99.95; SM Prime, up 35 centavos to P33.40 and Dito CME, down 40 centavos to P3.04.
The peso closed at P49.55 against the US dollar from P49.73 on Thursday. Volume at the foreign exchange portal reached $758.3 million from Thursday's $615.66 million. DMS
