PSE index ends lower

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index ended lower on Tuesday.
The PSE index closed at 5, 651.67, down 16.26 points. In the broader market, there were 87 gainers, 86 losers and 45 unchanged.
Volume reached 454.17 million worth P5.37 billion from Monday's 480 million shares valued at P4.54 billion.
Most active shares were led by Ayala Land, down P1.50 to P31.80; SM Prime, down P1.05 to P29.60 and Puregold, down P1.00 to P48. DMS
