PSE index finishes lower; peso at P48.52:$1

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index ended 22.11 points lower at 5,931.33 on Wednesday.
The peso finished at P48.52 against the US dollar from P48.50. Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines reached $481.50 million from the previous day's $674.6 million.
At the PSE broader market, there were 101 gainers, 89 losers and 51 unchanged.
Volume reached 1.22 billion shares worth P4.91 billion from Tuesday's 1.25 billion shares valued at P4.56 billion.
Most active shares were led by SM Investments Corp., up P6 to P887; SM Prime down 55 centavos to P29.50; Ayala Land, down 40 centavos to P30 and BDO, down 55 centavos to P86.95. DMS
