PSE index flat, Now Corp and Dito CME top active shares

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index ended flat on Monday, closing at 5.909.32, up 0.42 points.
Volume reached 2.13 billion shares worth P4.27 billion from Friday's 767.34 million shares valued at P7.64 billion.
Telco firms Now Corp., which became the fourth teleco player, and Dito CME Holdings Corp., the holding firm of Dito Telecommunity, led the most active stocks.
Now Corp. gained P1.19 to P3.58 and Dito CME gained 36 centavos to P4.12. SM Prime rose 95 centavos to P29 and Ayala Land, down 50 centavos to P30.50.
The peso closed at P48.365 against the US dollar from Friday's P48.395. Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines reached $ 662.83 million from $ 832.54 million on Friday. DMS
