PSE index gains

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index ended higher on Tuesday.

The PSE index gained 76.50 points to end at 5,555.65. In the broader market, there were 90 gainers, 80 losers and 44 unchanged.

Volume reached 600.65 million shares valued at P4.045 billion from Monday's 445.9 million shares worth P3.95 billion.

Most active shares were led by Ayala Land, up 55 centavos to P31.90; Ayala Corp., up P10 to P650 and Puregold, up 30 centavos to P45.60. DMS
