PSE index gains

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index ended 45.99 points higher to 5,667.93 on Monday.
In the broader market, there were 90 gainers, 80 losers and 55 unchanged.
The peso closed at P50.30 against the US dollar from Friday's P50.42. Volume reached $474.22 million from Friday's $433.2 million at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAP).
Volume reached 480.05 million shares worth P4.54 billion from Friday's 470.94 million shares valued at P5,86 billion.
Most active shares were led by Puregold, up P1.20 to P49; BDO,up P1.00 to P98 and Ayala Corp., down P5.00 to P699. DMS
