PSE index lower ahead of Holy Week break

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index ended lower on Wednesday as it heads for the Holy Week break.
The PSE index finished at 5,510.83 points, down 139.18 points. In the broader market, there were 102 losers,83 gainers and 37 unchanged.
Volume reached 491 million shares worth P5.95 billion from Tuesday's i billion shares valued at P6.36 billion.
Most active shares were led by BDO, down P3 to P98.50; SM Prime, down P1.90 to P29.20; SM Investment Corp., down P8 to P870 and Jollibee, up P9.50 to P120.
Trading at the PSE will resume on Monday. DMS
