PSE index lower; MerryMart gains

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) ended lower on Friday.
The PSE index went down by 33.38 points to 6,315.07. In the broader market, there were 101 losers, 89 gainers and 54 unchanged.
Volume reached 1.58 billion worth P12.4 billion from Thursday's 2.77 billion shares worth P10.44 billion.
Most active shares were led by PLDT, down P10 to P1,231; Ayala Corp., up P18.50 to P808.50; SM Prime, down 55 centavos to P31.45 and MerryMart, up 20 centavos to P2.05. DMS
