PSE index, peso finish higher

The main Philippine share index and the peso ended higher for the second straight session on Friday.
The peso finished at P51,58 against the US dollar, from P51.64 on Thursday. Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAP) reached $981.25 million from $1.158 billion on the previous day.
The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index closed at 7,849.94, up 84.91 points. In the broader market, there were 121 gainers, 58 losers and 48 unchanged.
Volume reached 428.98 million shares worth P4.5 billion from Thursday's 1.36 billion shares valued at P14.46 billion.
Most active shares were led by AllHomes Corp., down two centavos to P11.54; SM Investment Corp., up P10 to P1,010 and ICTSI, up P2.00 to P120. DMS
