PSE index rebounds after Monday’s decline

The Philippine Stock Exchange ( PSE) closed higher on Tuesday after losing ground on Monday.
The PSE index ended at 6,207.72 points, up 102.54. In the broader market, there were 118 gainers, 70 losers and 54 unchanged.
Volume reached 857.27 million shares worth P6.47 billion.
Most active shares were led by Altus Property Ventures, the second initial public offering this year, which gained P13.85 to P41.60. Others were BDO, up P4.00 to P98; BPI, up P2.50 to P72 and Ayala Corp., up P15 to P777. DMS
