PSEi declines, peso at P48.39:$1

The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) fell on Thursday, losing 128.40 points to end at 6,249.39.
In the broader market, there were 147 losers, 58 gainers and 52 unchanged.
Dito CME Holdings was the most active stock, displacing newly-listed Converge. Dito closed 15 centavos higher to P6.07, drawing 99, 022, 100 shares worth P650, 197,824.
BDO declined P 3 to P89, Converge gained P1.24 to P15.16 and Ayala Land shed P1.65 to P32.20.
Volume reached 3.36 billion shares worth P6.7 billion from Wednesday's 1.75 billion shares valued at P6.8 billion.
The peso settled at P48.39 against the US dollar from Wednesday's P48.375. Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines reached $524.15 million from the previous session's $534.6 million. DMS
