PSEi down, peso at P48.145:$1

The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) lost 69.95 points to close at 7,108.67 points on Tuesday.
In the broader market, there were 134 losers, 101 gainers and 40 unchanged.
Volume reached 8.27 billion shares valued at P12.95 billion from Monday's 10.3 billion shares worth P11.93 billion.
Most active shares were led by Global Ferronickel, up 16 centavos to P2.05; BDO, up P1.50 to P108.90 and BPI, down P1.10 to P87.50.
The peso closed at P48.145 against the US dollar from P48.205 on Monday. Volume reached $747.75 million from Monday's $425.4 million. DMS
