PSEi ends flat, peso at P48.145:$1

The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) ended flat on Monday as it rose by 0.16 points to finish at 6,685.85.
In the broader market, there were 131 gainers, 83 losers and 43 unchanged.
Volume reached 1.71 billion shares worth P8.02 billion from Friday's 4.07 billion shares valued at P10.08 billion.
Most active shares were led by Dito CME Holdings, down 23 centavos to P5.88; SM Prime, up P1.10 to P35.85 and BDO, up 65 centavos to P92.65.
The peso closed at P48.145 against the US dollar from Friday's P48.22. Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines reached $679.3 million from $779 million on Friday. DMS
