PSEi ends slightly higher; peso at P48.41:$1

The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) marked the first trading day of November by closing 11.56 points higher to 6,335.56 on Tuesday.
In the broader market, there were 125 gainers, 80 losers and 47 unchanged.
Volume reached 4.2 billion shares worth P6.6 billion from Friday's 2.38 billion shares valued at P7.29 billion.
Most active shares were led by Dito CME Holdings, down 20 centavos to P6.62; BDO, up P1.10 to P90; SM Investment Corp., up P24.50 to P974.50 and Converge ICT, down 24 centavos to P14.54.
The peso finished at P48.41 against the US dollar from Oct. 30's P48.40. Volume reached $510.05 million from the previous session's $817.4 million. DMS
