PSEi returns to 6,000-point mark

The Philippine Stock Exchange index ( PSEi) returned to the 6,000-point level on Monday after it gained 120.79 points to 6,019.26.
In the broader market, there were 125 gainer; s, 76 losers and 46 unchanged.
Volume reached 2.48 billion shares worth P5.44 billion from Friday's 4.89 billion shares valued at P5.64 billion.
Most active shares were led by GT Capital, up P21.60 to P409; Dito CME, up 14 centavos to P6.24 and Jollibee, up P7.60 to P154.60.
The peso closed at P48.60 against the US dollar from Friday's P48.625. Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines reached $508.41 million from the previous session's $587.75 million. DMS
