PSEi up, broader market down

The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) gained even as the broader market showed a decline on Thursday.
The PSE index went up by 80.64 points to 5,944.87. But in the broader market, there were 108 losers, 81 gainers and 53 unchanged.
Volume reached 1.96 billion shares worth P5.42 billion from Wednesday's 1.07 billion shares valued at P5.48 billion.
Most activ shares were Dito CME Holdings, up 40 centavos to P5.30; ICTSI, up P5.30 to P115; PLDT, up P1.00 to P 1,340 and Ayala Corp., up P4 to P693. DMS
