Stocks down, peso still at P52.10:$1

Stocks ended lower on Thursday, with the Philippine Stock Exchange index settling at 8,51.57 points, down 98.08.
In the broader market, there were 136 decliners, 77 gainers and 49 issues unchanged.
Volume reached 2.96 billion worth P10.46 billion from Wednesday's 1.92 billion valued at P9.53 billion Foreigners were net sellers for the third straight session with P4.91 billion sold and P4.52 billion bought.
Most actively traded shares were led by PXP Energy Corp., down 11 percent to P16.02; Ayala Land, down 1.67 percent to P44.25; Now Corp., down 0.13 percent to P15.04 and SM Investment Corp., down 3.55 percent to P950.
The peso closed unchanged at P52.10 against the US dollar. Volume at the Philippine Dealing System reached $668.40 million from $965.95 million. DMS
