Stock index ends at another all-time high

Philippine stocks finished at a new all-time record for the third time in four days, with the key index finishing above a key level on Thursday.
The previous all-time high was 8, 398.04. on October 10
The Philippine Stock Exchange index closed at 8,402.81 points, up 44.34 points. But in the broader market, there were 122 decliners, 82 gainers and 48 shares unchanged.
Volume climbed to 3 million shares worth P8.209 from Wednesday's 894.07 million valued at P11.63 billion.
Among most active shares were Ayala Corp, up 2.38 percent to P1077; SM Prime Holdings, up 3 percent to P 35.45; SM Investments Corp., up 1.51 percent to P942 and PXP Energy Corp, up 5.59 percent to P9.25. DMS
