Stocks end two-day record setting streak

Stocks snapped a two-day record setting streak on Thursday as the Philippine Stock Exchange index finished 50.04 points lower to 8,294.01.
In the broader market, there were 106 decliners, 90 gainers and 50 issues unchanged.
Volume reached 1.25 billion shares worth P6.76 billion. Foreigners were net sellers, with P3.57 billion worth of stocks sold compared to P3.53 billion bought.
Among most active shares were Ayala Land, 1.88 percent to P43.15; SM Investments Corp., down 0.83 percent to P899.50 and BDO Unibank, down 0.44 percent to P134.
The peso closed at P51.10 against the US dollar from P51 the previous day. Volume at the Philippine Dealing System reached $794.70 million from $761.75 million. DMS
