Stocks end week higher

Stocks finished higher on Friday as the Philippine Stock Exchange gained 129.77 points to finish at 8,304.70.
In the broader market, there were 121 gainers, 66 decliners and 50 unchanged.
Volume reached 1.02 billion shares worth 1.02 billion shares but foreigners remained net sellers, with P3.6 billion sold and P3.56 billion bought.
Among most actively traded shares were Universal Robina Corp., up 5.88 percent to P144, SM Prime, up 1.81 percent to 36.50 and Semirara Mining and Power Corp., down 2.76 percent to P36.95.
The peso closed at P50.50 against the US dollar from P50.65. Volume at the Philippine Dealing System reached $703.10 million from $705.60 million. DMS
