Stocks ends four-day gain; peso at P53.53:$1

Philippine stocks ended a four-day gain as the key index closed nearly 30 points lower on Monday.
The peso weakened slightly to P53.53 against the US dollar from P53.51 on Friday. Volume was a low $290.75 from the previous' $397 million.
The Philippine Stock Exchange index finished at 7, 369.44 points, down 29.74. In the broader market, there were 89 gainers, 90 decliners and 55 shares unchanged.
Volume reached 919.8 million valued at P4.28 billion, down from Friday's 1.5 billion worth P5.5 billion.
Most traded shares were led by Metrobank, up 0.43 percent to P69.80; Ayala Land, down 1.46 percent to P37.10 and Universal Robina Corp., up 128.70. DMS
