Stocks flat, peso gains to P50.51$1

Stocks ended flat, as the Philippine Stock Exchange index ended 3.42 points lower at 8, 361.69 on Monday.
In the broader market, there were 102 decliners, 96 gainers and 46 gainers.
Volume reached 1.23 billion shares worth 6.35 billion. Foreigners were net sellers with P3.106 billion sold and P3.074 billion bought.
Most actively traded shares were led by Meralco, down 0.63 percent to P317, Ayala Land, down 1.12 percent to P44 and Habor Star Shipping Services, 4.83 percent to P4.12.
The peso closed at P50.51 against the US dollar from P50.72. Volume at the Philippine Dealing System reached $655.06 million from $751.65 million. DMS
