Stocks gain slightly

Stocks gained slightly for the second day Tuesday, with the main index closing at 7,267.34, up 39.38 points.
In the broader market, there were 97 decliners, 88 gainers and 50 shares unchanged.
Volume reached 539.76 million worth P4.78 billion from Monday's 780.2 million valued at P4.8 billion.Foreigners were net sellers with P3.1 billion while buying amounted to P2.67 billion.
Most traded shares were Universal Robina Corp., up 2.3 percent to P124.80; Ayala Land, unchanged at P38 and SM Investment Corp., up 1.67 percent to P915.
The peso closed at P53.375 against the US dollar from Monday's P53.43. Volume reached $511.70 million from the previous day's $467.85 million. DMS
