Stocks slightly up, peso at P51.675:$1

Stocks were slightly higher on Friday but ended the trading week lower for the fifth straight week.
The Philippine Stock Exchange index gained 11.09 points to end at 7,546.17. Compared to last week, the index was down 2.26 percent.
In the broader market,. there were 107 decliners, 88 gainers and 38 shares unchanged.
Volume reached 792 million shares worth P6.25 billion from Thursday's 1.14 billion valued to P7.2 billion.
Most traded shares included 8890 Holdings, up 3.81 percent to P7.08; BDO Unibank, up 0.95 percent to P128 and DMCI, up 3.85 percent to P10.80.
The peso closed at P51.675 against the US dollar from P51.67. Volume at the Bankers Association of the Philippines reached $823.4 million from $723.1 million.DMS
