Tokyo stock closed at 23,656.62, 181.10 points down from previous day and 3,641.85 points higher than the 2018 closing day.
Nomura was appointed Chief Executive Creative Director of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games and will be in charge of overseeing the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. EPA-Jiji Press
