95 Nations to Be Represented at Hiroshima Peace Ceremony

Hiroshima- Representatives from 95 countries and the European Union will attend this year's peace memorial ceremony in Hiroshima on Aug. 6 to mark the 74th anniversary of the U.S. atomic bombing of the western Japan city, the municipal government said Wednesday.
This year's number of participants as of Monday is the second largest after the 2015 ceremony that saw participation from 100 countries and the EU.
Among nuclear states, Britain, Pakistan, France, Russia and Israel will join this year's event.
China will be absent while the United States and North Korea have not replied to invitations yet. Jiji Press
