Abe angry over terrorism after fatal blast in Britain

Tokyo- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe expressed Tuesday his strong anger over terrorism in a sympathy message sent to his British counterpart, Theresa May, following an explosion at a concert venue in Manchester.
In the message, Abe said that he hopes to demonstrate the strong resolve of the Group of Seven major industrial countries to combat terrorism at a two-day summit meeting to be held in Italy from Friday.
The Monday night explosion in Manchester left 22 people dead and injured more then 50, according to the BBC.
At a press conference, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said there has been no information so far that Japanese nationals were among the victims. (Jiji Press)
