Abe condemns terrorist attack in southern France

Tokyo- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Saturday condemned a terrorist attack that occurred in southern France on Friday.
In a message sent to French President Emmanuel Macron, Abe offered his condolences for all victims of the attack.
He said that Japan will continue to work hand in hand with the international community, including France, to adamantly fight against terrorism.
Foreign Minister Taro Kono also sent a similar message to his French counterpart, Jean-Yves Le Drian.
The attack, in which a gunman took hostages at a supermarket in Trebes, left three people dead. Jiji Press
