Abe congratulates Iranian’s Rouhani on reelection

Tokyo- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Saturday sent a congratulatory message to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, who has won reelection.
The Japanese leader called on Rouhani to maintain his stance of cooperating with the international community, adding that Japan hopes the Iranian president will continue to play a constructive role for the peace and prosperity in the Middle East.
Abe stressed that he is looking forward to working with Rouhani to further promote Japan-Iran relations. (Jiji Press)
