Abe May Visit France on July 12-14

Tokyo- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe may visit France on July 12-14, informed sources have said.
Abe is expected to attend an opening ceremony for Japonismes 2018, an event to introduce Japanese culture, in Paris on July 12, according to the sources.
He may also view a parade on July 14, on which France marks the anniversary of the Storming of Bastille in 1789, a key incident in the French Revolution, the sources said.
On Thursday, Abe held a meeting with Francois de Rugy, president of the National Assembly, the lower house of France's parliament, at the prime minister's office in Tokyo.
Abe said he looks forward to visiting France in July.
The National Assembly chief said he wants the Japanese leader to come to the assembly if time permits. Jiji Press
