Abe, Moon to hold talks in early July
June 10, 2017
SEOUL- South Korean President Moon Jae-in plans to meet with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Germany early next month, a senior security adviser to Moon said Friday.
Moon is set to hold bilateral talks with leaders of major countries such as China, Japan and Russia on the sidelines of a summit of the Group of 20 advanced and emerging economies in Hamburg in July 7-8, Chung Eui-yong, chief of the presidential National Security Office, said at a press conference.
This would be the first talks between Abe and Moon since the South Korean president took office last month unless a proposed three-way summit of the two countries plus China takes place before the G-20 meeting. (Jiji Press)
