Abe sends condolences to Egypt over mosque attack

Tokyo- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe offered his condolences to Egyptian President Adbel Fatah el-Sisi on Saturday over a deadly attack on a mosque in the Sinai Peninsula in eastern Egypt.
In a message sent to the president, Abe said that terrorism cannot be justified for any reason and that Japan resolutely denounces the latest attack.
Abe also expressed his country's solidarity with the president and people of Egypt.
In the attack that took place on Friday, at least 235 people died after militants bombed the crowded mosque and gunned down worshippers there, according to local media. Jiji Press
