Abe to Visit China from Dec. 23 for 3-Way Talks

Tokyo- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will visit China for three days from Dec. 23 to attend a three-way meeting with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and South Korean President Moon Jae-in, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said Wednesday.
The meeting will be held on Dec. 24 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
Abe is also making arrangements to hold separate talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Moon, Suga said.
At the three-way summit, the leaders "plan to discuss the current and future situations in the three countries, which have maintained working-level cooperation with each other in various fields," according to Suga.
The three will also "confirm collaboration on regional challenges including those related to North Korea," Suga added. Jiji Press
