Abe to visit New York, Brussels next week

Tokyo--Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will visit New York and Brussels in a six-day trip starting on Monday, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said Friday.
Abe will hold talks with U.S. President Donald Trump and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in New York on the sidelines of a U.N. General Assembly session, Suga told a press conference. The meeting with Rouhani is expected to focus on tensions in the Middle East.
The prime minister will deliver speeches at the U.N. General Assembly and a meeting on the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals. In Brussels, he will give a keynote speech at a connectivity forum.
