Abe to visit North America, Europe from April 22

Tokyo--Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Monday that he will visit six countries, including the United States, France and Italy, for eight days from April 22.
At a meeting of the government and ruling parties, Abe said he will also travel to Canada, Slovakia and Belgium.
During the visit, he hopes to lay the groundwork for the Group of 20 summit set to be held in Osaka, western Japan, in June.
Abe said he is determined to further strengthen collaborative relations with each country and make sure close cooperation for the success of the G-20 summit. Jiji Press
