Abe Vows Efforts to Find French Woman Missing in Japan

Paris- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe pledged Wednesday to make utmost efforts to find a French woman who went missing in July during a sightseeing trip to Japan.
In a meeting held at the Elysee Palace, the woman's family called on Abe to continue searching for the woman, Tiphaine Veron.
"We'll do all we can," the prime minister said.
Veron has been unaccounted for since July 29. She arrived in Japan by herself on July 27 and checked in for two nights at a lodging in Nikko in the eastern
Japan prefecture of Tochigi the following day.
Abe is on a five-day European tour through Saturday.
