APEC ministers agree to promote infrastructure projects

Hoi An Vietnam- Finance ministers of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum member economies ended their three-day meeting on Saturday by agreeing to promote infrastructure projects to shore up the region's growth.
At the meeting in Hoi An, central Vietnam, the ministers also confirmed that the 21 APEC members will work even more closely to play their role as an engine of growth for the world economy.
The ministers agreed to secure tax revenues by dealing with tax avoidance and profit shifting and consider building a framework of cooperation to reduce the impact of natural disasters on member economies. Jiji Press
