Culling finishes in all 5 swine fever-affected Japan Prefectures

Osaka--Work to slaughter pigs has been finished at all farms affected by recent swine fever outbreaks in five Japanese prefectures.
The Osaka prefectural government on Sunday announced the completion of work to cull 737 pigs.
The prefecture plans to end by Friday all other related work, such as incinerating the slaughtered animals and sterilizing facilities and equipment.
Culling work in the other four prefectures--Aichi, Nagano, Gifu and Shiga--had been completed by Saturday. Jiji Press
