Ex-LDP Exec Tanigaki Leaves Hospital in Late 2017

Tokyo- Former Liberal Democratic Party Secretary-General Sadakazu Tanigaki returned home late last year after having been hospitalized due to an injury caused in a cycling accident.
It was disclosed by Ichiro Aisawa, chief representative of the former Tanigaki group of the LDP, at a meeting of the group on Thursday.
According to informed sources, Tanigaki, who retired from politics without running in the House of Representatives election in October, expressed his hope to meet Prime Minister and LDP President Shinzo Abe at an early date.
Tanigaki suffered a cervical spinal cord injury from a fall while cycling in July 2016. He had been undergoing rehabilitation at hospital.
The LDP group hopes that Tanigaki will continue to serve special adviser for its members. Jiji Press
