Fukuta Named Japan’s New Envoy to Honduras

Tokyo- The Japanese government at a cabinet meeting Tuesday appointed former National Personnel Authority official Norio Fukuta as ambassador to Honduras, effective the same day.
Fukuta, 58, entered the government agency in 1982 and served in such posts as chief of the Equity and Investigation Bureau and head of the Human Resources Bureau. He retired in March this year. Jiji Press
