Hospitalized Keidanren chief diagnosed with lymphoma

Tokyo--Hospitalized top Japanese business leader Hiroaki Nakanishi said Wednesday that lymphoma is the reason for his ill health.
The chairman of the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren), the biggest group of employers in the nation, revealed this in a statement.
Nakanishi, also chairman of electronics and machinery giant Hitachi Ltd. <6501>, is seen returning to work after the "bon" holiday period in mid-August.
Keidanren announced on May 27 that Nakanishi was hospitalized in Tokyo for medical examinations and treatment. Jiji Press
