Japan, China to Hold Financial Dialogue on Aug. 31

Tokyo- Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso and his Chinese counterpart, Liu Kun, will meet in Beijing on Aug. 31 for the seventh bilateral financial dialogue, the Japanese Finance Ministry said Friday.
They will exchange opinions about the two countries' economic conditions and financial cooperation, according to the ministry.
The ministerial discussions are expected to lay the groundwork for a summit between Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Chinese President Xi Jinping that is likely to be held in mid-September. Jiji Press
